Amazon Prime Day 2026 is June 23-26.
Prime Day deals move fast. Without a plan, it’s easy to overspend.
Here are some ways to keep your wallet AND your cart happy:
- Create your list first. Decide what you want before Prime Day starts. Add those items to your Amazon wish list. A list gives you a clear plan before the deals start.
- Spot deals ahead of time. Use the Amazon app to get alerts about Lightning Deals before they go live. If a deal sells out, look for the Join Waitlist. You’ll get an alert if a person with a Lightning Deal in their cart doesn’t buy within 15 minutes.
- Browse Prime Day Deals. Plenty of deals are available! Check out everything from wireless earbuds to mosquito repellers to water flossers. Check the prices carefully, though. A sale badge does not always mean the lowest price.
- Check price histories. A sale price isn’t always a better price. Some merchants raise prices before Prime Day's major sales. Then they lower the prices to where they were just days earlier. Use an app or browser extension like Keepa to track price histories for Amazon products.
- Shop around. Many retailers lower or match prices to compete with Prime Day savings. Comparison shop for the best deals.
