It covers a shortage of funds on debit card purchases, point-of-sale (POS) transactions, ATM withdrawals, checks, and ACH transactions so your transaction can be processed. Courtesy Pay may cover insufficient funds transactions up to an approved limit for a $32.00 fee per presentment. Instead of returning a check to the merchant because of insufficient funds, the Credit Union may process your transaction, saving you additional charges from the merchant.
