Visit any branch with a parent or guardian to open your teen savings or checking account.

Yes! Teens under the age of 18 can get a debit card if a parent or guardian signs a Guaranty Agreement.

The KTVAECU Rewards Debit Card has no annual fees. Plus, it allows access to thousands of surcharge-free ATMs nationwide.

Our Jump Start Savings Account is the perfect savings account for everyday savings. With the Educational Savings Account, save up a college fund or prepare to pay for trade school.

See our current Youth Savings Accounts rates on our Rates Page. Rates are subject to change.

At 18, you are eligible to be the sole owner of your checking or savings accounts, giving you even more freedom with your money. The Educational Savings Account will pay out to you on your 18th birthday if you have not already started your first day of college or trade school.

Greenlight is a debit card for kids. It is not a credit card. Load money onto the card from your own funding source to your child’s card through the Greenlight app. And because it’s a debit card, kids can’t spend what isn’t there.

To add funds to your child’s Greenlight card, add your KTVAECU account as your funding source within the Greenlight app.

Greenlight supports kids and grown-ups of all ages. There is no minimum (or maximum) age for your participation. The Primary account holder must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. resident.

Yes! If you are an existing Greenlight customer, add your account with us as a fund source. Then reach out to Greenlight customer service and request to be added to the Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union partnership program.
