Home Loans FAQs

You have several options to make your payments. Payments are free of charge if you transfer funds from an account you have with us, mail a check, pay in person at a branch, or deposit a check through the mobile directly to your loan. Payments made from a different financial institution incur a $15.00 convenience fee if paid over the phone, or $5.00 if paid online through our payment portal.

Learn more about how to make your payment on our Make-A-Payment page!

The amount you need depends on the home loan type. Some loans, such as VA loans or USDA loans, offer $0.00 down payment options for qualified borrowers. Other common loan types typically require at least 3.00% to 5.00% of the home’s purchase price saved for the down payment.

To find the right option for your budget, talk to a loan officer about your options.

Every buyer’s situation is unique. Talk to us to review your goals and find the best loan option to meet your needs.

To streamline your loan application, gather the following before you begin:

  • Two forms of ID (one must have photo)
  • Proof of income (recent pay stubs, W-2s, tax returns)
  • Bank statements
  • Address history
  • Homeowner insurance info
  • Sales contract and legal property description (for purchase loans)

If you need more information on your home loan, mail a written request to our payment mailing address. In your letter, please provide your full name and account number and the information you need.

PMI (Private Mortgage Insurance) protects lenders when buyers put down less than 20.00%. We offer no PMI loan options with many in-house home loans.

If you cannot make your mortgage payment on time, please call our Collections department at
