Holidays
Eleven holidays are
observed each year. The Credit Union is closed
two days for Thanksgiving.
Annual Leave
Employees earn:
First 3 years - 13 days per year
After 3 years - 20 days per year
After 15 years - 26 days per year
Sick Leave
Employees earn 4
hours of sick leave for every 80 hours worked.
There is unlimited accrual and carry over of
sick leave. Employees retiring from the Credit
Union with accruals of 500 or more hours, will
receive payment of one quarter of those hours
at their rate of pay at retirement.
Long-Term Disability Salary Continuance
Disability insurance pays up to two-thirds
of an employee's monthly salary upon becoming
disabled and unable to work. The premium is paid
by the Credit Union.
Group Life Insurance
Employees
are eligible for coverage after completion of
six months employment. The Credit Union pays
one-third of the premium and the employee pays
two-thirds.
Medical, Dental and Pharmacy Plans
Employees
and their dependents are eligible for medical,
dental and pharmacy benefits at no cost to the
employee.
Employee Savings Plan
The Credit
Union offers a tax-deferred 401(k) savings plan
as a way of helping employees provide funds for
retirement. Employees may contribute up to 17%
of compensation. Credit Union will match 50 cents
for each dollar contributed by employees on the
first 6% of their deferrals. Additional voluntary "Profit
Sharing" matches
may also be offered by the Credit Union. Employees
are fully vested after five years of employment.
Pension Plan
In addition to
the 401(k) plan, the Credit Union provides a
pension plan funded entirely by the employer.
This plan provides a monthly retirement benefit
for qualifying employees. Benefits are insured
by the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC).

Additional income opportunities also available
through an incentive plan, Merit Bonuses, and
up to 6% bonus at the end of each year based
upon meeting the Credit Union's goals. Subject
