SIMPLY SMART Project Grants are offered by Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union Foundation for Education to assist educators with classroom needs and projects. One grant is available to each public high school in the Credit Union’s service area: Johnson City, as well as Blount, Hamblen, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Roane, Sevier and Sullivan counties.
The Foundation is funded by donations from the community, by the Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union, which makes financial contributions and covers administrative costs, and by Credit Union members and employees. Thus, 100% of money donated to the Foundation will support educational project grants.
The Foundation doesn't just give educators grants, we also partner with the school to provide resources and other support to help maximize grant efforts. If your business or organization is interested in helping with current grant projects, please contact us to see if a school has a need that you can help meet!
