The holiday season is meant for happiness and joy. Unfortunately, there are many families and children in the Appalachian area who don’t see much happiness, joy, or hope during the holidays.
Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union has teamed up with Mission of Hope to do all we can to bring hope back to the children of Appalachia!
Look for Mission of Hope Blue Barrels at Credit Union locations to donate items such as non-perishable food, new clothing, new toys, and full-size hygiene items! All items collected during this time will be taken to the Downtown Knoxville Branch on the corner of Wall Avenue and Gay Street and placed in the display window! At the end of the donation period, everything collected is given as Christmas presents to the children of Appalachia! Help us fill the window with hope!
This is one of our favorite times of the year! It is truly inspiring seeing our communities come together to help those in need. The Credit Union was founded on many principles, including “people helping people,” which is exactly what we hope to do this holiday season.
